Fairy Tale Ball

Last week my class did a play called Fairy Tale Ball. I was Rapunzel in the last story. You can watch the videos of me.

This is me as Rapunzel. I have to talk to Bradlee on the phone. My hair wasn't suppose to come off. I had to sing "Over the Rainbow" before the prince came.

Failed

I failed my 3 hour glucose tolerance test also.  I guess this means no more sugar for me for a couple of months.  That's too bad because that is mainly what my diet is composed of.  I had pop tarts for breakfast followed by some chocolate donettes.  I guess its back to oatmeal for breakfast.  I see a doctor tomorrow.

Junk Food

I failed my 1 hour glucose tolerance test so I had to take the 3 hour on Monday.  Now I'm waiting for the doctor to call and tell me I can't have any more sugar until the baby comes.  Of course, all I'm eating until I get the call is sugar.  I had a pop tart snack last night at 9 and will probably have donuts for breakfast.  I know, I should just assume I need to eat better, but that probably won't happen unless someone lays down the law.  I remember when I had to stop eating sugar when I was pregnant with Bradlee.  I craved chocolate chip cookies the whole time.

Silly Micah!

It's official and caught on camera Micah is crazy, silly, and energetic! And we still love her!







These photos were not posed. I told Micah to pose for a photo. and she couldn't think of anything to do. While she was talking to me I took these photos. She realized I was taking picture at the 3rd photo and was surprised! Still turned out cute though. -Bradlee

STAR Testing

This last week we al had star testing.Oh Joy a whole week full of state required testing and nothing else. I finished mine on friday but Avarie and Micah are continuing theirs' this week. This is Micah's first year of doing it and is so amazed she is allowed to chew gum at school.

Bradlee's Party

A little late but just as fun. My birthday was April 22 but I took my friends to Hurricane Harbor on May 3 for the day. We  went on every ride and had funnel cake by the pounds. It was opening day but it was not very crowded. The weather was just right and the rides were so fun. This was my first time going to Hurricane Harbor so my friends  gave me all the tips. My favorite ride was the family ride sorry I don't know the real name. With the day with my friends there is no way that my friend Alyssa isn't going to get freaked at least once. On the last ride of the day Alyssa was going on the tallest ride and was so nervous. My friend Miranda and I were waiting at the bottom when we realized it was taking her a long time to get down the slide. It turns out there wasn't enough water in the ride and at one point she stopped completely! Well it turned out to be an awesome day , all the sun and terrors included!

Ultrasound #2 in 3D

Kevin was out of town (he tried to get out of it but couldn't) so the girls and I went to my ultrasound appointment this morning.  Everything checked out great.  Maybe a little ahead of my due date - but hopefully not too early because I'm not going to miss summer vacation.  At the end they tried to get a 3D picture.  Carsten was doubled up with his hands and legs all in front of his face.  With some prodding, he finally moved enough so we got a couple of neat pictures.

This is the first try.  I think that's his leg going across his face.

The part that looks like cut off hands is actually part of the same arm going from his left shoulder and across his face.  The focus[?] cuts out his elbow so you see a weird cross-section of his arm.

Bradlee finds a lizard

Bradlee went into the front yard to do something for mom and while she was doing that she felt something next to the bottom of her pants.  She thought it was a foxtail weed.  So, she put her hand right there and it was a lizard.  And it started squirming and scratching her more.  So whe grabbed her knee so it wouldn't go up any further and she yelled for Me and Mom first but we could not hear her.  So she yelled for Avarie and her friend Maddy.  So they came out and Bradlee said "I have a lizard up my pants!  Help me get it out!"  So Avarie & Maddy rushed to try to help her so they finally got it out.

Micah's Baptism

After Micah's party we all went home and got ready for the baptism. My Uncle Steve, Aunt Rainey,  her three boys,  Aunt Chris, Aunt Cathy Uncle Chad and their two kids were there. Micah's dad baptized and confirmed her and Chad and Steve were witnesses.micah looked so pretty in her new dress that her mother made for her. After the baptism Micah was surprised with a set a scriptures with her name on them.

Micah's Birthday Party

We tried planning Micah's Birthday 3 times.  We finally settled on a family party on the day of her baptism.  We went to Collin's pool and swam, ate pizza, snow-cones & soda.  It was fun.  Micah says thank you for all the neat presents.

Avarie turns 11!!!!!!

I'm 11!!!!!!!!!!!! My birthday was on the 3nd,but my party was on the 4th.
My friends and I walked straight to my house after school and played for 2 to 4.
Then we ate at Me-N-Ed's pizza and Cold Stone ice cream.YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then it gets even better, we saw NIM'S ISLAND! (I recomend the movie)
For presents I got a camera, a webkinz(penguin), a tygirl, a beanie hampster, and dog.
It was a awsome party!!!

MICAH TURNS 8

Micah turned 8 on April 2. She requested donuts for breakfast and for her school class treat and we went to dinner at In-N-Out because she had a "coupon" for winning the Cinemagic program cover contest. Presents were opened before school and snow cones were enjoyed by all.
