One of Bradlee's Many Projects

This is the finished product of my first summer project.

My mom found the instructions on the web and I made it. First I had to duck tape all the cards together and then we needed to laminate it.

The UPS store didn't have a laminator big enough. Kinkos wanted $35.62 to laminate it(my mom did not want to spend that much). Then we asked Sis. Mackey if she could do it. Sis. Mackey and her husband own Eyedentity Graphics
(checkout their website) and they have a HUGE laminator!

Thanks to Sis. and Bro. Mackey we were able to get it laminated so I could finally put it together! Thank You!

Micah Loves her Dad

One day a baby boy was born on August 5th 1960 in Omaha Nebraska to Eileen and William Hager.  My name is Micah Eileen Hager because I was named after my grandma.
He grew up to play the piano and like math and school.  He went to Quincy Jr. Sr. High School.  When he was about 11 years old he was walking home from school when he started day dreaming.  He started to swing on a wire holding up the power pole.  Then the electric lines crossed then they hit and made a fire ball bigger than him!  My dad ran home as fast as he could go.  When he got home, the power was out, because he blacked out half the town.  Oops!
When he grew up he married Debbie Stevenson.  A few years after that they had a baby girl named Bradlee.  Then three years later they had another baby girl named Avarie.  Then after three more years later they had me.  Now he's getting ready for his first baby boy after eight years when we weren't expecting another baby.  We are going to name him Carsten.
My dad is gone most of the time because of business trips.  My dad's job is being an Engineer.
I think he is the best in the universe!

A lizard.....trapped!!!

A lizard was trapped in our back door!  Micah spotted it first.  I told her to get me one of our mom's sewing pins.  I tried to poke it.  It didn't really move that much.  My dad came and got it out.

WHAT THE LIZARD THOUGHT:  I'M FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Officially a Smarty Pants

Avarie graduated (ok, promoted) from 5th grade yesterday.  She received the President's Award for Educational Excellence proving that she is officially a "Smarty Pants".  Only about 6 kids in her class received the award.  We had a fun morning taking pictures and talking to friends.  The ceremony was nice (and short) and we enjoyed it.  Avarie is looking forward to attending Camarillo Academy of Progressive Education (CAPE) next year.
WAY TO GO AVARIE -- YOU MADE IT !!

A gaggle of cousins

Sharon came down for the week.  Everyone
had lots of fun.  Chris hosted a BBQ at Rainey's
house for my birthday.  We had 11 kids there
between all of us.  Crazy fun.

Sharon & I went to Santa Barbara on my birthday with our kids.  It was fun.  We rented a beach mobile and put all eight of us on it.  We did that for a couple of hours, had ice cream, went shopping and had fun.

Bradlee & Mom are officially the same height

The doctor confirmed it.  Bradlee is officially the same height as her mom.  Mom is still wider though.  We took this picture while we were visiting Grandpa Bill & Grandma Eileen in Concord for Memorial day.  Baby Carsten is due in two months.
